Dr. DeJuan Stroman-Price, DBA, APR, PMP is the Founder of The Networking Dr.™ — a research-informed platform that transforms the way professionals and entrepreneurs approach connection. Her work moves clients from confidence to connections to community, with strategy, evidence, and precision at every step.
A leading business strategist with more than two decades of experience spanning organizational strategy, management consulting, marketing, business development, and strategic communications, Dr. Price has made a career of translating network science into practical playbooks that generate opportunity, influence, and growth.
Her scholarship deepens that practice. Dr. Price earned her Doctor of Business Administration from Pepperdine University's Graziadio Business School (2025), where she now serves as a Post-Doctoral Researcher in collaboration with Dr. Cristina B. Gibson, Dean's Distinguished Professor of Management. Her research examines how network structure, entrepreneurial self-efficacy, and identity-affirming support shape outcomes for Black women founders — a body of work that sits at the intersection of business strategy, equity, and organizational behavior. In recognition of that scholarship, she has been named an AIS Entrepreneurial Innovation Fellow, sponsored by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, and a Center for Black Entrepreneurship Fellow. Those insights drive The Networking Dr.™'s signature frameworks, including the R.I.S.E. Framework™ and the Connection Blueprint™, equipping clients to map their networks, build trust at scale, and unlock capital, customers, mentors, and momentum. Her workshops and advisory sessions deliver evidence-based methods alongside hands-on tools: outreach sprints, social-capital audits, community-building rituals, and metrics that make progress measurable.
Dr. Price holds a B.A. in Communication from George Mason University, an M.A. in Communication, Culture & Technology from Georgetown University, an Executive MBA from Virginia Tech, and a Doctor of Business Administration from Pepperdine University. She is also Accredited in Public Relations (APR), a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and holds a Women's Entrepreneurship Certificate from the Bank of America Institute for Women's Entrepreneurship at Cornell University.
An engaged ecosystem leader, she serves on the Board of the NCMA Metro Maryland Chapter and is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®. A sought-after speaker and advisor, she has taken her research to international stages — including the Academy of Management Annual Meeting in Copenhagen and the Engaged Management Scholarship Conference in Henley-on-Thames, UK — with a return to AOM's Annual Meeting scheduled for Philadelphia in 2026. She is sought out for her expertise in network strategy, inclusive ecosystem design, women's entrepreneurship, and GovCon growth — championing underrepresented founders and equipping them with the relationships, resources, and resilience to rise.
A native Washingtonian, Dr. Price keeps community at the center of everything she does — including life with her French bulldog, Josephine Baker.
